Shooting the catwalk is one of my guilty pleasures. The hours before the show, when everything transforms and gets together, are as interesting as the 15 minutes when the girls shine on the runway. Often, because of the different locations where the shows take place, the lighting conditions are not the ideal ones and you might experience some difficulties if you don’t have the right kind of gear. Since I shot the first fashion show at Berlin Fashion Week, Canon was the brand I relied on all the time and I won’t change it for anything in the world. Today, I can not imagine shooting a presentation without my EOS 1DX, with it’s 12fps in RAW mode and incredible ISO performance, that allows me to capture all the models’ steps for a very good catwalk photo. Enough talking, its time to show you a few pictures! For the whole presentation you can access today Lightaholic on Facebook. December 12, 2013
